Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Henri Nouwen Society board and staff, I want to thank the many people who have already responded to our recent end-of-year appeal.  I also want to express our appreciation for the emails and messages of encouragement we have received in recent weeks from people whose lives have been touched by Henri during this particularly challenging holiday season.

One short note we received speaks to the heart of the isolation and loneliness so many are experiencing:

"Henri's words reach those of us who are struggling.  

He reminds us that we are not alone."

Sharing Henri's words with others during this challenging time is only possible because of your generous partnership and support.  If you have not already done so, I ask that you take this opportunity to join others in making a gift between now and December 31.
