Hymn: “Come With Joy” UMH # 617
1. I come with joy to meet my Lord,
forgiven, loved and free,
in awe and wonder to recall
his life laid down for me,
his life laid down for me.
2. come with Christians far and near
to find, as all are fed,
the new community of love
in Christ’s communion bread,
in Christ’s communion bread.
3. As Christ breaks bread and bids us share,
each proud division ends.
The love that made us makes us one,
and strangers now are friends,
and strangers now are friends.
4. And thus with joy we meet our Lord.
His presence, always near,
is in such friendship better known;
we see and praise him here,
we see and praise him here.
5. Together met, together bound,
we’ll go our different ways,
and as his people in the world,
we’ll live and speak his praise,
we’ll live and speak his praise.
Children’s Moment
Worship Music: “Away In A Manger”
1. Away in a manger, no crib for a bed,
the little Lord Jesus laid down his sweet head.
The stars in the sky looked down where he lay,
the little Lord Jesus, asleep on the hay.
2. The cattle are lowing, the baby awakes,
but little Lord Jesus, no crying he makes;
I love thee, Lord Jesus, look down from the sky
and stay by my cradle till morning is nigh.
3. Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask thee to stay
close by me forever, and love me, I pray;
bless all the dear children in thy tender care,
and fit us for heaven to live with thee there.
Please bring your offering to the front of the church while worship team plays

Healing Prayer
“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declared the LORD.”
God of wholeness, heal the hurts, both inside and out, that make like difficult each day. Ease the pain, loosen the chains, bringing freedom in their place.
For all whose nights are broken by pain, discomfort, anxiety, and so many other reasons,
leaving them tires and unable to concentrate, refresh their minds, give them patience in time of stress, keep them safe outside of their home and may they find peace and rest.
For those who are ill, bring wholeness to their body, mind, and spirit. For those who worry,
bring wisdom and reassurance. If fearful, bring freedom. For those who are sad bring them
comfort, strength, and joy.
For those whose hears are troubled be the voice they hear, the warmth they feel, the wisdom
they seek, the strength they require, and may they rest in our arms Lord, may you show them
the light even in the darkest of times.
Lord Jesus we have faith in our power to heal. We have faith in your ability to mend our broken hearts. We have faith in our power to bring wholeness into our lives.
Take the prayers that we offer, and grant us your grace to accept that you have heard our
prayers today and have answered.
Today and all days embrace us, as your children, in love that knows no end. Fill us with power
that overcomes weakness. Encourage, inspire and bring wholeness to our nation and our world.
Breath peace, and unity. Cover all those who are dedicated healers: doctors, nurses,
psychiatrists. Bless those who put their lives on the line: police, firefighters missionaries, care
givers, parents, children, guardians, adults and our military.
Thank you for never forsaking us Lord. AMEN
Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done
in earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As
we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation But deliver us from
evil. Amen.
Worship Music: “Mary Did You Know?”
Mary did you know that your baby boy would one day walk on water?
Mary did you know that your baby boy would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know that your baby boy has come to make you new?
This child that you delivered, would soon deliver you.
Mary did you know that your baby boy will give sight to the blind man?
Mary did you know that your baby boy will calm a storm with His hand?
Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod?
When you kissed your little baby, you kissed the face of God.
Oh Mary did you know
The blind will see, the deaf will hear, the dead will live again.
The lame will leap, the dumb will speak, the praises of the Lamb.
Mary did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary did you know that your baby boy will one day rule the nations?
Did you know that your baby boy is heaven's perfect Lamb?
This sleeping child you're holding is the great I am.
Mary did you know
