INVITATION TO SUPPORT
MIGRANT RELIEF EFFORTS…

Surely, you've been following the news coverage of the Central American caravan of migrants moving northward. You may be eager to learn more and figure out how to help in some way. You might also be skeptical of this group's presence and motives. Likely, it all feels overwhelming.
Wherever you are, we encourage you to sift through a webpage we've compiled that offers you various avenues for involvement and education. The page allows you to...
...connect with the amazing work being done south of the border by Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Mexico's Medical Brigade
...support the migrant shelters on both sides of the border through funds, items, & time
...find resources to learn more about the caravan, general refugee/immigrant realities, and border life
...sign up to volunteer at the donation center housed at our church
sdfcnaz.com/resources/migrant-relief
You'll see some "quick links" at the top for easy access to info - but scroll down to learn more about each of the areas listed above. Also, the webpage links to several google docs, which are updated regularly.
We know the need is great, so we invite you to pray as we link arms and try, in this very tangible way, to love our neighbor.
OTHERS IN OUR PRAYERS:
●Wilson family: Please continue to pray for guidance for the Wilson family as they search for answers and solutions to Luke's vision problems. He has an appointment on July 16 for some more tests. Thanks for your love and prayers!
● Norm Shoemaker: Continue praying for Norm as he is healing from surgeries on his legs.
● Ellen Hamilton: Please keep Ellen in your prayers regarding health concerns.
● Donna Tyler: Please keep Donna and her family in your prayers.
● Chris Phillips: Prayer for continued healing for stage IV breast cancer.
